ARTISTS WANTED (HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - May, 6, 2008) - The Los Angeles Music Network presents a double music contest next month. Taking LAMN Jams to a new level, urban and rock music artists are invited to perform original material for a panel of industry experts and receive live critiques. Winners move up to the finale and have opportunity to compete for the Grand Prize.Artists are invited to submit material to perform in the URBAN & ROCK Music Contests . Those selected will perform at Skinnys Lounge, located at 4923 Lankershim Boulevard in the NoHo Arts District (N. Hollywood). Performance dates are as follows: ROCK Contest: Jun 9, Jul 7, Aug 11 (finale) URBAN Contest: Jun 23, Jul 21, Aug 25 (finale) Open to the public - admission is free for all dates!TOP INDUSTRY EXPERTS Guest experts committed to participate include executives from Universal Music Publishing Group, Electronic Arts Worldwide Music, Urban Network, Trans World Entertainment, MySpace Records and Red Queen Music (more pending). PRIZES Optic Noise (music placement & licensing service): One (1) hour music licensing consultation, marketing assessment, with a half hour of phone follow up.
